Celina Klohk's work is rooted in memory, solitude, and the quiet anxieties that accumulate beneath everyday life. She builds constructed worlds from fragments of personal experience and imagination, spaces where the familiar shifts into something stranger.
Her paintings and drawings sit at the heart of this practice, though other mediums find their way in when different ways of seeing are needed. What remains constant, is a curiosity about the interior: the emotional and psychological textures of being alive, the inconsistent nature of perception, and the small details of daily life that tend to go unnoticed. Works evolve through the act of making, following their own logic as much as any initial intention.
Celina lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
